Author's Inspiration

Rick Riordans inspiration came from many things. One thing came from camp where he was a guitar teacher. There he had the idea of Camp Half Blood. Rick Riordan also liked greek mythology. This helped when he started all of his series about the Greek gods. He seems not only interested in Greek gods but also Egyptian gods. He has written the KANE series with Egyptian gods.
